BURGLARY – CRYSTAL LAKE, IL

On 5/13/16, at approximately 12:28 midnight, burglars smashed out the front door to a jewelry store. They entered and then smashed two glass watch display cases. They made off with 79 watches. Investigators are looking for a person of interest that has been described as a well-dressed white male with a eastern European accent. He is 6’1” and weighs 250 pounds. He entered the store the day before the burglary, and specifically asked about the same watches that were stolen later that night. While the subject asked about watches, a younger subject with dark hair walked around the rest of the store and did not touch anything. The subjects left the store five minutes after entering. If you have any information regarding the identity of these individuals, please contact the Crystal Lake Police Department at 815-356-3620.
