GRAB AND RUN – SANTA CLARA, CA

On 9/27/16, at approximately 9:00 p.m., a subject asked to see gold chains. He said he wanted to buy a gift for his brother. The sales associate introduced themselves and the subject stated his name was Derek. An associate first showed him a 10K chain and then the subject asked to see a two tone chain. Once it was placed on the presentation pad, the subject grabbed it and fled from the store. The subject was described as a Black male between the ages of 20-25-years-old. He is 5’5’ and weighs 155 pounds. He has a small bun ponytail. He wore baggy grey sweatpants and a dark blue sweater. He also wore a white ball cap and black tennis shoes.
