DISTRACTION THEFT – TAYLOR, MI

On 9/30/16, at approximately 7:40 p.m., two suspects asked to see high end rings. The suspects were shown several rings. After that occurred, one of the suspects said he needed to go out to his car to get money. Both men left. A few minutes later, both suspects returned to the store. They were shown several more pieces and again the suspects stated they needed to leave to get money. After the suspects left the second time, a sales associate discovered that the suspects stole merchandise. Both suspects are 6’0 tall black males. Both men have medium builds and weigh 220 pounds. They both have dark complexions and both are in their mid-forties. One suspect wore a red shirt with a white undershirt and jeans. The second suspect wore a blue shirt with a white undershirt and jeans.
