A male suspect approached a jewelry store’s doors 10 minutes before the store was scheduled to open. The store’s team was suspicious because the suspect was wearing a jacket, mask, glasses, and a hat. A decision was made to delay the opening of the store for a few minutes. The suspect then attempted to open the doors again at about 10:00 a.m. This time he was also wearing winter gloves. 911 was called and the police responded. They detained the suspect and determined he had a gun and zip ties. The suspect was arrested for attempted robbery.
