DISTRACTION THEFT – WICHITA, KS

On 05/29/23, a male and female subject approached a jewelry store multiple times during the day inquiring about pieces.� At approximately 4:00 p.m, the couple returned, and the male subject had money visibly in hand, wanting to see a chain and ring.� The female subject also requested to see a ring.� During the presentation, and as the subjects asked questions distracting the team member, one of the pieces was stolen.� Both the male and female subjects stated they did not have the missing piece, and walked away from the store.�

Subject Descriptions:

Subject 1:� Black male, short black hair, tattoo between eyebrows, 40-45 years old, approximately 140-145 lbs, 5’9 – 6′.� He was last seen wearing a white shirt with red graffiti pants, and white and black shoes.

Subject 2:� Black female, 30-35 years old, approximately 200-250 lbs and 5’5″, black braided hair, brown eyes.� She was last seen wearing a red hat, a white and red baseball button-up shirt, and denim blue jeans.
