GRAB AND RUN – PEMBROKE PINES, FL

On 10/29/23, a male and female entered a jewelry store at 4:43 p.m., walked around the store, then asked for assistance at the gold showcase. The male subject was interested in gold chains and bracelets, and the sales associate presented a number of options, but the subject wasn’t interested. Finally, he asked to see a gold chain, and the sales associate placed it on his neck. After a few minutes, he asked to see a matching gold bracelet, and the sales associate placed it on his wrist. The subject looked at himself in the mirror, then ran from the store. His female companion quickly followed him and ran out. The couple was in the store for ten minutes, and a few minutes before running, the subject was on his cell phone. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org or 212-687-0328.
