DISTRACTION THEFT- DAYTON, OH

On 3/21/17, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a sales associate discovered a portion of a sliding glass display was pried open. After an inventory audit, a bracelet was determined to be missing. The sales associates remembered two suspects who acted strangely earlier in the day. A male and female couple looked at rings. The female suspect reached into the case to get a ring and cleaned a ring with her shirt. The male reached into a case as well. Nothing was found to be missing from that case. As they were looking at items, the suspects asked the sales associates to leave them alone so that they could discuss their finances. It is believed that the suspects used this opportunity to steal merchandise. Both suspects are Black. The male suspect is 30-years-old, 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He wore a puffy green jacket. He also wore a flat billed hat and had a short black beard. His eyes appeared to be wide apart. The female suspect is 30-years old and 5’5” tall.
