SNEAK THEFT – TOLEDO, OH

On 4/19/17, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a female suspect said she was shopping for an engagement ring. The sales associate asked the suspect if she would like to open a credit account, the suspect said yes, but was denied. After the suspect left the store the ring� could not be located.� After reviewing surveillance, the suspect was observed concealing the diamond band in her pocket while the credit application was being processed. The suspect was located on her bicycle a few miles from the store. She was arrested.
