SNEAK THEFT – EDISON, NJ

On 5/30/17, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a suspect inquired about rings. He told the sales associate he was considering doing a trade in. He then asked to see earrings. As the jewelry consultant turned her back to put away earrings, the suspect concealed items. When the associate turned back around, the suspect asked to see rose gold pieces. The suspect then stated he would return with his girlfriend. The theft was not discovered until after the suspect left. The suspect was described as a Black male. He is 5’7” and was last seen wearing a blue cardigan. He also wore a dark baseball hat and was carrying an Old Navy shopping bag.
