Hickory, NC – On August 9, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., two suspects wearing motorcycle helmets ran into a jewelry store and brandished guns.

The suspects smashed into display cases and stole diamonds.

After taking jewelry, the suspects jumped on a black motorcycle and sped off. The suspects wore black hoodies and big black gloves. They were also holding a baton.

According to the store’s owner, the suspects knew which cases to hit.

 

Police are investigating if this incident may be related to other robberies where the suspects used motorcycle helmets; in Asheville, Hickory and Morganton, NC.
