SMASH AND GRAB – MORGANTON, NC

On 11/11/17, at approximately 11:20 a.m., two suspects brandished a firearm and ordered sales associates to get against the wall and face away. One of the suspects stated they were just doing this for their families. The men then each used hammers and smashed glass display cases. They then removed jewelry which they placed into backpacks. The entire robbery took less than four minutes. The first suspect was described as a 5’6” Black male with a medium build. The second suspect is 6’0” tall and has a medium build.
