On 11/30/17, two suspects pretending to be police officers, pulled over a jeweler by using a police cruiser style vehicle. The suspects’ vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan. It was equipped with flashing lights on the vehicle’s grill. The jeweler pulled over to the side of the road. At that point, the jeweler was approached by two males. One suspect threatened the jeweler at gunpoint and told him not to move. One of the suspects then smashed a glass display case and grabbed luxury watches. The suspects then fled from the scene in their sedan. If you have any information regarding the identities of these suspects, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
