December 18, 2017 - West Hartford, CT

At approximately 7:29 p.m. on the date listed above, the subject featured above entered a jewelry store holding a business card. He requested to see a specific sales associate he conversed with on December 12, 2017.

On December 12, he said he was interested in engagement rings, however he left the store without making a purchase and without incident. On December 18, the subject inquired about loose diamonds. He said he wanted to find a pendant that would match the engagement ring he planned on buying.

The sales associate removed loose diamonds and placed them on a plunger and then a presentation pad. Once the items were on the pad, the subject removed the two diamonds, placed them in his coat pocket and then fled from the store.� The subject was described as a 30-year-old Black male. He is 5’10” and weighs 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with black pants.
