CEDAR FALLS, IA – EMPLOYEES PEPPER SPRAYED

On 1/22/18, at approximately 8:30 p.m. a male subject entered a jewelry store and brandished a knife. He ordered one of the sales associates to open display cases. He then ordered another associate to lay face down on the floor. The employee on the floor was pepper sprayed in the face. The subject ordered the first associate to open various display cases. The subject then took a bag and placed merchandise into them. The subject went to a back room and ordered the first associate to the ground. He then pepper sprayed that associate as well. The subject escaped with over 200 pieces of jewelry. He was described as a 5”5” white male. He wore all black along with gloves and a mask.
