Comedian subdues jewelry thief

New York, NY – On February 12, 2019, comedian Russell Peters, was inside of a jewelry store in New York City’s Diamond District. As Peters conversed with an associate, a thief attempted to flee from the store.

Peters and another man subdued the thief and restrained him before an officer arrived. The subject is a 27-year-old male. He attempted to steal a $150,000 ring. Watch the video below.
