On 4/7/19, two suspects identified as Adrian Stoica, 40, and Sofia Brastas, 36, were arrested by law enforcement in Arlington, VA. The suspects were apprehended based on charges filed by the New York State Police. Stoica and Brastas are alleged to have committed a jewelry theft from a store in New York. The suspects are believed to have committed various jewelry thefts in other jurisdictions. They were also charged with felony grand larceny for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in Staunton, VA on 7/24/19.
