On the date listed above, shortly after 9:00 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and examined various items. He came into the location two times earlier in the day. He claimed he was getting a large settlement.
The subject returned to the store near closing time, at that point, he asked to see several loose diamonds. During the diamond presentation, the subject gained possession of two loose diamonds and fled from the store.
