On 9/25/19, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and expressed interest in looking at chains. The sales associate believed the subject had committed grab and runs at other stores. The associate stated she didn’t have the key. A call was then placed to the security department. The associate returned to the subject who stated he had a $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 budget. The subject identified a chain he liked and stated he wanted to see it. At this point, security had not arrived yet. The associate showed him the chain. Once the subject gained possession of the chain, he fled from the store.
