Burglars arrested after cutting hole in roof!

January 12, 2020 - Lemont, IL

On the date listed above, the featured suspect identified as 41-year-old Algirdas Glinskis, as well as his 26-year-old accomplice, Denis Daunoras, were arrested before they could burglarize a jewelry store.

The two suspects are from Lithuania. Investigators say the men cut a hole in the roof of a business. The suspects were preparing to enter a jewelry store, which was next to the business they cut a hole into. At approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the location after hearing reports about a suspicious noise.

Responding officers saw the two men wearing black masks running on the roof of buildings in the plaza. Police recovered burglary tools at the scene. The suspects have been charged with possession of burglary tools, attempted burglary and criminal damage to property over $10,000.
