On 1/27/20, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store holding a cardboard box with tape on it. He placed the box in front of a display case and then brandished a hammer. He used the hammer to break the glass on one of the cases. The subject reached into the case and cut himself on the broken glass. He then removed bracelets and fled from the store. The subject was described as a Black or Hispanic male in his 30’s. He is 5’5” and has a medium build. He was described as having dirty shoulder-length hair with a beanie cap.
