FRAUDULENT HIGH-END WATCHES SEIZED IN CINCINATTI, OH

On 1/28/21, federal officials from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized 85 counterfeit high-end watches. The watches came from a plastic goods company in Honk Kong. They went through a shipping firm in Saudi Arabia and they were supposed to be shipped to an apartment in New York City. The declared value of the watches was $402. If the watches would have been authentic the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price would have been $5,844,500. In a press release CBP noted that counterfeit commodities fund smugglers and members of organized crime. Click here to read more about the CBP’s press release.
