DISTRACTION THEFT – LAS VEGAS, NV

On 2/13/21, at approximately 4:35 p.m., a male and female subject entered a jewelry store and asked to see diamond rings. They pointed out rings quickly in order to confuse the sales associate. During the interaction, the male subject took one of the rings off the finger of the female subject and put it in his pocket. They left the store a short time later. The store did not discover the ring was missing until a couple of days after the theft. The male subject was described as Black with a medium build. He wore a black sweater, baby blue shorts with a black stripes and baby blue shoes. A description of the female was not provided.
