DIAMOND SWITCH – JERSEY CITY, NJ

On 6/27/21, at approximately 3:10 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and asked to look at gold bracelets. While one of the subjects was holding the bracelet, the two were asking questions about other merchandise. A look-alike bracelet was handed back with a store’s ticket of the same SKU. The team member was not immediately aware that the bracelet had been switched. The two subjects then asked about rings and one of them said he needed to talk to his girlfriend to find out her ring size. The subjects then left the store. The team member was putting back the bracelet and noticed it didn’t feel right. Upon further examination, it was determined that the bracelet wasn’t the store’s merchandise. The switched bracelet is stamped 14K on the clasp but it’s believed to be a lighter metal that is gold plated.

The first subject is Black and 5’10” with a thin build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a white button-down shirt, and a gold necklace. The second subject is Black, 5’7″, and has a medium build.
