On 7/5/21, two subjects entered a jewelry store and began asking to look at gold chains. The subjects were shown multiple chains inside the side-by-side display case. The second subject then separated himself and asked to look at gent’s rings and then left the store. The first subject then proceeded to ask about gold chains and whether they were solid or hollow. The subject then tried on the 24″ Curb Link Chain for a second time, stating that he wanted to see where it landed on his chest with a possible pendant purchase. As soon as this happened, he pushed the employee and fled the location. No injuries were reported by the employee. The Columbus Police Department responded and a report was filed along with fingerprints being lifted.
Both subjects are approximately 23-year-old Black males. The first subject is 5’10”. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants, royal blue tennis shoes, and a white N-95 mask. The second subject is 5’11” and has short braided hair. He was last seen wearing a white baggy t-shirt, blue jeans, neon multi-colored shoes, and a white N-95 Mask.
