On 7/5/21, two subjects entered a jewelry store and began asking to look at gold chains.� The subjects were shown multiple chains inside the side-by-side display case.� The second subject then separated himself and asked to look at gent’s rings and then left the store.� The first subject then proceeded to ask about gold chains and whether they were solid or hollow.� The subject then tried on the 24″ Curb Link Chain for a second time, stating that he wanted to see where it landed on his chest with a possible pendant purchase.� As soon as this happened, he pushed the employee and fled the location.� No injuries were reported by the employee.� The Columbus Police Department responded and a report was filed along with fingerprints being lifted.
Both subjects are approximately 23-year-old Black males. The first subject is 5’10”. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants, royal blue tennis shoes, and a white N-95 mask. The second subject is 5’11” and has short braided hair. He was last seen wearing a white baggy t-shirt, blue jeans, neon multi-colored shoes, and a white N-95 Mask.
