On 7/16/21, at approximately 1:20 a.m., two black male subjects gained entry into the mall through the mall corridor. They then proceeded to a jewelry store where they were successful in prying open the gate with a crowbar. Once inside the location, they smashed a showcase with the crowbar and removed the vast majority of gold chains. The Chicago Police Department immediately responded as well as the mall security director. Both subjects were described as Black Males. The first subject is 5’9”, 25-30 years old, 185-190lbs, and dark-skinned. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, light gray pants, and a white face mask. The second subject is dark-skinned and in his mid 20’s. He was last seen wearing a Black hoodie, black pants, and a black mask.
