GRAB & RUN – EUREKA, CA

On 8/23/21, at approximately 6:50 p.m. a male subject approached a jewelry store and browsed every showcase, inquiring on types of metals and diamonds.� The subject approached a showcase containing various charms and pendants, and requested to see a specific charm.� The associate removed the charm from the showcase and maintained possession as the subject viewed it.� The subject requested to hold the charm. At that point, the subject began to back away slowly with the charm in hand and stated he needed to “find his friend” before he began to walk away from the store.� Mall security and the Eureka Police Department were contacted.� There were no injuries to associates or customers.� The subject was described as White, and in his early to mid 30’s. He is approximately 5’11”, and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing baggy clothes. He also has dirty hands.
