On 12/27/21, at approximately 6:43 p.m., a burglary occurred at a jewelry store. Two unknown subjects entered the mall after it had been closed for an emergency closing due to inclement weather. Both were seen heading directly towards the store. One male subject and one female subject approached the store, where both subjects were seen pointing at the showcase that typically contains gold jewelry. The male subject was seen jumping over the counter and produced a crowbar as the female subject remained on the outside, carrying a black suitcase. The male subject pried open one showcase, then moved to the safe, which contained gold necklaces and gold bracelets, and stacked all elements containing those items. Both subjects were seen one minute later exiting the store with a stack of gold necklaces and gold bracelets. They were seen placing them into a suitcase prior to exiting. The male subject was described as a White, in his ate-20’s to early-30’s, approximately 6′, with a medium to heavy build. The second subject is a White female, in her late-20’s to early ’30s. She is approximately 5′ 1″, and has a thin build and shoulder-length bleached blonde hair. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelersseurity.org or 212-687-0328.
