On 12/30/21, at approximately 11:15 a.m., a Hispanic male subject committed a smash and grab robbery at a retail jewelry store. After entering the store, the subject walked directly to the men’s diamond rings. He then brandished a sledgehammer and broke the glass on the display case. He proceeded to reach in and stole a couple of handfuls of jewelry. He then fled with the merchandise. The subject is in his 20’s, has a thin build, and is 5’7”. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie. He also wore a black and white bandana, and he had a small red backpack.
