THEFT OF SPINNER – ST. PETERS, MO

On 1/22/22, at approximately 12:30 p. m., a Black male subject entered a jewelry store. He pulled out a wire clipper from his jacket and clipped the wire that was securing a large merchandise spinner. Video captured the subject with the entire plastic unit in his hands on the left side of his body as he was leaving the store. When he left the mall, he had the spinner in a large white shopping bag. He was seen driving off in a white 2 door car. The display unit had 20 gemstone box sets that included a ring, necklace, and earrings. The police were notified and a loss was reported. The subject was described as 185 lbs, and 5’10”. He was last seen wearing an Adidas black sweat suit with a red bold stripe on the front of the jacket and multiple strips down the side of the sweat pants. He had red tennis shoes and a black coat and a black skull cap.
