On 3/3/22, at 8:00 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a jewelry store. A male subject approached the store prior to closing and inquired about diamond engagement rings. The subject selected a gold ring and attempted to purchase the item. His debit card was declined, at which point the subject requested to see a cheaper ring. He requested to view a particular ring and had it removed from the showcase, placing it upon his pinky. The subject then stated, “yeah I’ll take that one,” at which point the team member requested the item back to ring it up. Without giving the ring back, the subject repeated, “yeah that one, thank you, bye” and walked from the location. The subject is White. He is in his early to mid-30’s, and is approximately 6′ tall. He has a thin build and short blonde/light brown hair. He also has short well-groomed facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue/plaid jacket and carrying a shopping bag.
