On 5/28/22, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a smash and grab robbery.� Two males entered the location and were greeted by a team member.� Shortly after, the team member was suspicious and walked toward the second team member.� At that time, the male, wearing a construction vest, removed a hammer from a bag he was carrying.� The male began smashing the showcase.� Both team members ran out of the store through the back door.� After penetrating the glass, both males reached in and stole gold chains and bracelets. They then ran out of the front door.� Police were contacted.� The males were captured shortly after, in addition to two other males.� The merchandise was recovered and is currently being held by police as evidence.
