On 7/22/22, at approximately 5:10 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. Two males entered the location and were greeted by a team member. The male, identified below as Subject 1, stated he wanted to look at gold chains. A team member took the subject to the gold chain showcase. During this time, the male, identified below as Subject 2, was on a cell phone and remained near the front door. After looking at several chains, Subject 1 asked to see a Cuban link necklace. The chain was removed from the showcase and handed to the male. The male secured the chain around his neck, and began walking towards a mirror. Then, the males ran out of the store. Witnesses stated the males entered what appeared to be a tan Toyota Camry driven by a third subject.
Both subjects are Black. The following description was provided for the first male: late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’9″, medium build, wearing black shirt with white writing, gray unzipped hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, hat, and a face mask. The following description was provided for the second subject: late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’10”, medium build, wearing a lime green and orange “construction” vest, white t-shirt, dark shorts, LA (Dodgers) baseball hat, and a face mask.
