DISTRACTION THEFT – PEMBROKE PINES, FL

On 3/23/16, at approximately 2:36 p.m., two African American females committed a distraction theft. A sales associate was presenting merchandise from the diamond earring display case. While the associate opened the case to put back a pair of earrings, the older female reached into the case and removed a pair of diamond earrings. After the subject gained possession of the stolen merchandise, she hid it in her purse. Both women then left the store. The theft was not discovered until the next day when inventory counts were conducted. The first suspect is between 40 to 50 years old. She wore a blue dress and had short hair with red highlights. The second suspect is in her early 30’s. She had puffy hair with blond highlights.
