ARMED ROBBER SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS – CONYERS, GA   

On March 28, 2018, Cephos Leyon “Jamal” White, 30, was sentenced to 10 years and one month in prison. White was convicted for an April 2017 robbery at a jewelry store in Conyers, GA. White is also suspected to be involved in three other jewelry store robbers.

On April 18, 2017, White and his accomplice, Sandrika Denise Sears, 21, went into a jewelry store and stated they were interested in buying a ring. Shortly after introducing themselves, White brandished a gun and Sears helped him zip-tie the employees hands. Ultimately White and Sears stole approximately $700,000 worth of jewelry from this single robbery. Sears pleaded guilty on January 12, 2018 and has not yet faced sentencing.
