ARMED ROBBERY – COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

On 10/22/21, at approximately 11:05 a.m. a male subject entered a retail jewelry store under the pretense of shopping for chains. The subject requested to see a 26″ curb chain. He also requested to see a second chain. As the team member was attempting to get the first chain back from the subject before presenting a second chain, the subject gestured to his waist area and stated that he has a weapon, and this is a robbery. The subject grabbed both chains and fled the site and mall. There are no reports of injury. A report was immediately filed with the Colorado Springs Police Department, who are actively trying to locate the subject and will continue the investigation. The subject is White, and he is believed to be in his mid 30’s. He is 5’7″ with a medium build, brown hair, brown facial hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red Chicago Bulls hat with a black front bill, acid-washed denim jeans, and a black hoodie.
