On 7/30/16, shortly before 5:00 p.m., two subjects took part in an armed robbery of a jewelry store. Both subjects wore motorcycle helmets. Only one of the subjects entered the store. He displayed a gun, walked directly to the watch showcase and broke the glass. The subject fled the store with 19 watches. The second subject remained on a motorcycle outside of the store. The robbery took less than two minutes. This is the third smash and grab robbery this year where subjects have worn motorcycle helmets in North and South Carolina. If you have any information regarding the identities of these individuals, please contact the Greenville City Police Department at (864) 271-5333.
