Arrested robbery suspects were members of a notorious robbery crew

Fargo, ND – On February 9, 2023, two suspects, identified as Dajuan Marcellus and Kordaryl Cross, were arrested for their involvement in an attempted jewelry store robbery.

On February 8, 2023, the two men took part in an attempted robbery at a jewelry store in Fargo, ND. They were arrested the following day in Michigan by Michigan State Police. The two men were recently released from prison for their involvement in a series of smash-and-grab robberies. The crew consisted of 30 members and targeted jewelry stores in 9 states. They used sledgehammers and targeted high-end watches. The crew was charged for the robberies in 2014.

In the incident on February 8, 2023, five subjects were in a stolen car when it arrived at the jewelry store. Three of the subjects in the back seat exited the vehicle and then approached the store in camouflage and masks. They got into the vestibule area of the store, and then the store’s security guard locked the interior doors. The guard stated they saw one of the subjects pull a handgun before the subjects turned and fled.
