ATTEMPTED THEFT – MURFREESBORO, TN

On 8/18/21, at approximately 3:00 p.m., two subjects attempted to commit a theft at a jewelry store in Murfreesboro, TN. A male and female couple entered the location with the pretense of shopping. When team members approached to assist, they observed the male subject tampering with the lock of the gold earring spinner case. The male subject placed an unknown device in his pocket and both subjects left the store. No merchandise was reported stolen. The first subject was described as Black and in his, 40’s. He has a stocky frame. He is approximately 5’ 10”, and weighs 245lbs. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, red short sleeve shirt, and dark shorts. The second subject is Black, and in her 40’s. She has a large frame, is approximately 5’ 6”, and weighs 160 lbs. She was last seen wearing a head wrap, a grey short sleeve shirt, pants, and she carried a large purse.
