Authorities provide insight on “crime tourists” and their method of operating

Fairfax County, VA – On January 11, 2022, the Washington Post’s Justin Jouvenal, published an article titled “‘Crime tourists’: An international spree targets D.C. area’s wealthy Asian residents.” The article featured expert commentary from several special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), who describe the crimes of international criminal groups that also target jewelry stores.
