Palo Alto, CA – November 30, 2021 – Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered California Highway Patrol to increase patrols on freeways near shopping centers and malls.
The California Highway Patrol’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force will assist local law enforcement agencies with investigations into retail crime. There has been a noticeable increase in retail crime in the Bay area. Seven Bay area district attorneys have announced the formation of an alliance to prosecute the subjects responsible for the crimes.  Watch the video below to learn more:
