Canal Winchester, Ohio- On August 9, 2026, a jewelers was the victim of a Grab and Run theft totaling $18,999.99. According to Management, a single female suspect entered the location and asked to look at gold chains as she had around 15 thousand to spend on an anniversary gift. The suspect was shown several chains one at a time and finally asked to see the 10K YG 24” Miami Cuban Curb Chain. As soon as the suspect had possession of the chain, she backed away and ran from the store. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and a report was filed. No injuries to report.
