DIAMOND SWITCH – FAYETTEVILLE, GA

On 10/4/17, at approximately 7:42 p.m., a female suspect asked to see a diamond ring. After she examined the ring, she gave it back and asked to see another ring. After quickly looking at the second ring, the suspect returned it. The sales associate knew that the ring returned was different. The associate asked the suspect to give back the original ring. The suspect acted as if she was unaware of what happened and did not understand English. As a second associate went to call police, the suspect quickly left the store. She was described as an Asian female in her mid 20’s. She is thin and approximately 5’2” tall. She has black hair and a tattoo of “Joshua” in red and black ink on her right forearm. She has a tattoo on her right chest that says “TRUST GOD” in blue and black ink. She also has a tattoo on her right shoulder. She was last seen wearing a maroon tank top and a gray skirt. She was observed leaving in a red hatchback; possibly a Nissan Maxima. If you have any information regarding this suspect’s identity, please call the Fayetteville Police Department at 770-461-4441.
