DISTRACTION THEFT CLARKESVILLE, TN

On 2/10/20, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a couple entered a jewelry store looking for gold chains. They denied assistance from sales associates. The subjects spent several minutes in the store. They remained at a gold earring spinner and then left the store. Shortly thereafter, the subjects returned. The female subject distracted sales associates while the male subject broke the spinner case and removed seven pieces of merchandise.

Both subjects are Black. The male is in his late 40’s to early 50’s. He has a stocky build, salt, and pepper hair and two gold front teeth. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, a white t-shirt, khaki pants or jeans, and a ball cap.

The female subject is in her late 40’s to early 50’s. She has a heavy build and wore her hair pulled up in a bun. She was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve t-shirt with “I’m the Boss” written on the front.
