DISTRACTION THEFT – FINDLAY, OH

On 12/11/19, at approximately 3:09 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store. They were assisted at a display case containing diamond bracelets. The first subject asked to see multiple bracelets. When he asked for the price of one that was in the hands of an employee, he reached inside the case, unbeknown to the employee and concealed a diamond bracelet. After the first subject concealed the item, he stepped behind his accomplice. After the associate gave the subjects the price of another bracelet, the subjects said they needed to go to their car to get their ID. The subjects did not return. Both subjects are Black males. The first subject wore a NY ball cap and a black coat with purple sleeves. The second subject wore a multi-colored stocking cap and a black coat.
