DISTRACTION THEFT – LONGVIEW, TX

On 3/27/22, at approximately 4:05 p.m., a distraction theft occurred at a jewelry store.  A male and female subject entered the store and requested to view gold chains.  While a team member was working with both subjects after the showcase was opened, the male subject attempted to step in front of the team member. During this time, the female subject reached into the showcase and quickly removed a gold chain.  Both subjects left the location shortly thereafter.  The following morning, the store manager found the item listed above missing during case counts.  The male subject is in his early to mid-30’s. He is approximately 5’11″, and has a medium build. He was last seen wearing a grey baseball cap, blue long sleeve shirt, blue shorts, and white shoes. The female subject is White and in her early 30’s. She is approximately 5’4”, and has a thin build. She was last seen wearing a white hat, pink t-shirt, torn blue jeans, and white shoes.
