
Erie, PA– On July 21, 2026, a jeweler was the victim of a grab and run theft totaling $16,999.98. According to management, a single suspect entered the store and asked to see Cuban chains. He was assisted by an employee who showed him one chain oat a time and placed them back in the case. After a few moments, the suspect asked to see the two chains listed above, as the merchandise was placed on the counter so the display could be locked, he grabbed the chains and fled the store. The employee yelled and captured the attention of Mall Security who approached the suspect. At this time the Mall Security Officer was maced in the face, and the suspect fled the mall. The Millcreek Police Department was notified and a report was filed.
Suspect(s) Description: Black Male; Mid 40’s; 6’3”; Heavy Build; Salt and Pepper Hair; Baseball Cap; Blue Polo shirt with White Stripes; Khaki Shorts; Black Tennis Shoes; Glasses
