On 10/18/16, two female suspects entered a jewelry store carrying an infant. The suspects asked to see multiple items, including chains and rings. The sales associates brought the items to the register. The suspect then asked if the tag could be cut off the items because she wanted to put them in her own gift wrapping paper. The suspects also asked if the store accepted Euros. The store did not. The suspects then said they would go to the bank to have money converted to dollars. After the suspects left, one of the rings was discovered missing. The suspect spoke Spanish but also spoke to each other in an “unknown European language.” They also spoke English.
