On 12/16/21, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a retail jewelry store. A male subject entered the location and requested to view men’s yellow gold rings. When shown a lower-priced one, the subject requested to view a higher-priced ring. Once in possession of the ring, the subject asked “can I show my girlfriend?” before dropping the bag he was carrying and running from the store with the ring in his possession. The subject was described as Hispanic. He is in his mid 20’s, approximately 5’7”, and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, maroon sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. If you have any information regarding the subject, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at or 212-597-0328.
