GRAB AND RUN – AURORA, OH

On 5/1/22, a retail jeweler was the victim of a grab-and-run theft.� According to management, a single subject entered the store and explained that he was looking for a Mother’s Day gift and he wanted to look at a specific collection.� The subject was shown a 10KW 1/2ct 18″ Diamond Pendant and proceeded to the checkout.� The subject wrote a check and handed over his passport for identification for an authorization code.� Telecheck was called and at this moment the subject said, just process it as cash.� The merchandise was placed on the register and the subject walked outside only to return a few moments later and reach over the counter and took the merchandise along with his passport.� The subject fled in a 4 door white sedan, possibly an Audi.� The subject is Black, 6’0″,� and weighs 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a Black Nike sweatshirt, shorts, and black tennis shoes.
