GRAB AND RUN – BRANDON, FL

On 1/19/23, at approximately 5:10 p.m., a subject entered a retail jewelry store and asked the team member to look at wedding bands and gold necklaces. He did not have a mask, and he was approximately 5’7″ and 170 lbs. He is believed to be between 23-27 years old. He is Hispanic with dark eyes and long curly hair that was in his face. He said his name was Jose Perez, and he had tattoos on both of his forearms, which were all Chinese letters.

He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie that was baggy and dark crop pants. He was in the store for about 30-40 minutes and tried on numerous pieces and liked a bracelet and wanted to compare a ring. Another team member went over and asked if he wanted to open an account and he then ran out with the jewelry at approximately 5:55 pm.
